PRODUCT DESIGN | CHILDREN’S TOY | DEVELOPMENTAL AID

Bubble Buddies is a set of interactive toy balls designed for children of all abilities to learn motor skill development. Designed on a collaborative team of both student engineers and designers, these toys are intended to be used to track children’s development over time and adapt to their needs to help them grow. A key learning from this project was that though the toy was initially thought to be best for use at the home, therapists and teachers actually found it more interesting for use in a controlled setting and with various children to track their learnings and use them to meet simple and important goals.
